Blogging, Being Busy, and Babies
My job seems secure for now. Apparently, because we have so few people staffed at my building, cutting any of us would not be a good idea (and yet I have time to write this on my blog...).
My life lately has been really hectic. I do a lot of stuff, and though it's all good stuff, in the end it's a lot of stuff that keeps me from relaxing and sleeping. When Luke and I were first married, we complained that we had no friends and no one to hang out with and nothing to do. Now we are hard-put to find a night that we can just sit down and hang out with eachother.
It makes me miss apartment life sometimes. Not enough to ever think of going back, though. All I have to remember is Rick and his cement-block feet to realize I never want to hear him pacing above my head again. Or dropping cigarettes on me from his balcony. Or the crazy family below us having a screaming match at 3am. Or the wierdos who asked me if I was a mortician. Or paying rent that goes nowhere and buys you nothing. I really did hate it there, but I miss the free time.
Leah should be having Faith ANY DAY now. I do not like kids, but I love Faith SO much already, I can not even begin to explain. I can't wait to see pictures of her little smiling face (I have this idea that because Nate and Leah are both so wonderful, beautiful, and perfect, that Faith will leap from the womb smiling, her golden hair curled perfectly (and probably in pigtails), her blue eyes flashing defiantly (but she'll obey her parents, of course), looking like a cherub (clouds will most likely float around her, or birds will chirp at the mere sight of her.))
Happy soon to be birthday, Faith!
