100-day Challenge

At my job, we have a contest going. It is called The 100-Day Challenge. You are supposed to eat right, exercise, and log it all into a spreadsheet online.

Well, I knew right off the bat that I was not about to exercise. After my little workout fetish my freshman year of college, I never have felt like working out again. I also knew that eating right isn't really my thing. I prefer sugar and fat. But still.....

they offered me a free t-shirt. I had to say yes.

Well, the 100-Day Challenge ends April 24th (coincidentally the day after Administrative Proffessionals Day, which I expect many a gift for). I haven't exercised (well, I ran like twice, but it had nothing to do with the 100-Day Challenge), I have eaten crap all winter long, and I haven't even worn my t-shirt (actually, I haven't even taken it home (actually, I don't know where it is)). And yet, among those I work with...

I am winning. I (through luck, prayer, or stress) have managed to maintain my weight, whereas all my co-workers have gained weight during the 100-Day Challenge. I. AM. VICTORIOUS.

The sad part is, the rest of them are trying. Putting a real effort into things. Jogging on lunch breaks. Eating wraps. You know, legitimate trying. I am eating cheesecake even while I type this. I'm hunt-and-pecking with one hand while I shove cheesecake in my face with the other, and I'm thinking about what I'm going to eat next.

Someday this is going to come back to bite me.

Freshman year... you were exercise-crazy! I do have many fond memories, however, of doing Tae-Bo in severely small rooms. Biking for an ungodly number of miles. And playing, well fighting to play, racquetball.
